Clothes Donations
We run a compassionate clothes donation program under The Zambia I Want, dedicated to uplifting and supporting underprivileged communities across the country. Through our collaboration with donors, well-wishers, and committed volunteers, we collect gently used and new clothing. These items are carefully sorted and distributed to vulnerable families, orphaned children, the elderly, and individuals facing hardship. Our efforts ensure that those most in need have access to clothing that brings comfort, dignity, and relief.
But our impact goes beyond just providing clothes. We help restore confidence and a sense of belonging to those who might feel forgotten. For many, wearing clean and warm clothing—especially during the cold seasons—can make a world of difference. Whether it’s a child walking into school with pride or an adult stepping into a job interview with renewed self-esteem, we’re creating moments of hope. Orphanages
At The Zambia I Want, we prioritize orphanages in our clothes donation program because we believe every child deserves warmth, dignity, and comfort. Many of these children have lost their families and live in challenging circumstances with limited resources. By providing clean, quality clothing, we aim to restore a sense of belonging and self-worth among orphans. Clinics
We also donate clothing to clinics, where many patients arrive with little to no personal belongings, especially in emergency or rural settings. Prison Inmates
We recognize the often-overlooked needs of prison inmates, who may lack access to proper clothing during their incarceration.
