Turning Need into Action!
A prosperous, united, and empowered Zambia where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive, free from poverty and inequality.
To inspire mindset change and drive grassroots development by mobilizing resources, sharing knowledge, and implementing practical solutions that uplift vulnerable communities and promote responsible citizenship across Zambia.
The Zambia I Want runs a compassionate clothes donation program aimed at supporting underprivileged communities across the country. Through partnerships with donors and volunteers, the initiative collects and distributes gently used and new clothing to vulnerable families, children, and individuals in need, helping restore dignity and providing relief, especially during cold seasons.
This service focuses on improving the living conditions of low-income and vulnerable households. The Zambia I Want mobilizes resources and skilled volunteers to renovate dilapidated homes, install basic amenities, and create safe, habitable spaces. The initiative empowers families by transforming their homes into secure and dignified environments.
The feeding programme addresses food insecurity by providing nutritious meals to communities suffering from poverty and hunger. Special focus is placed on children, the elderly, and the homeless. Regular meal distributions and partnerships with local food suppliers ensure that vulnerable populations have access to consistent nourishment.
With an eye on long-term empowerment, The Zambia I Want offers skills development programs aimed at equipping individuals—especially youth and women—with practical and entrepreneurial skills. Through training in trades such as carpentry, tailoring, ICT, and agriculture, participants gain tools to become self-reliant and economically active members of their communities.
